Sanjay M Pujare commented on APEXCORE-733:
------------------------------------------

Fixed the title to reflect the actual enhancement being requested.

As an example, let's assume the actual user apexadmin is using the Apex CLI to launch an Apex app. The impersonated user is John i.e. the app will run as user John. With this feature and the corresponding option enabled the app should access HDFS resources under /user/john instead of /user/apexadmin .

> When an application is launched using impersonation, the impersonating user's hdfs home folder is used to store application resources such as the jars needed to launch the application and post launch checkpoints, tuple recording etc.
> In some scenarios this is not desirable as the impersonated user needs to have access to the impersonating user's folders. We need the ability to be able to use the impersonated user's home folder in these cases.
